Ltd, London 1919 Tales of Mystery & Imagination is a popular title for compilations of stories by the American author Edgar Allan Poe (1809-1849), who had a decisive influence on short stories and detective fiction. This edition takes the reader into the world of fantasy, into the land of horror, dreams and madness.

About the artist: Before Ole Olsen opened his own workshop in Copenhagen in 1965, he also worked for Hugo Peller in Solothurn, among others, during his years of teaching and travelling. From 1967, he was a frequent guest lecturer at the cbl in Ascona. He took part in solo and group exhibitions and competitions at the Galeria del bel libro in Ascona, as well as in many European and American cities. In 1975 and 1985 he was awarded a bronze medal at the Prix Paul Bonet. Ole Olsen was allowed to call himself the ‘Royal Bookbinder’.

In 1972, he opened the ‘Co'libri’ gallery in Copenhagen, where he exhibited his own bindings as well as works by other binding artists and historical bindings.
